Juniors

Class Overview

Nurture your Passion for Dance

Our Junior dance classes are perfect for pupils who are ready to learn more complex techniques in different dance styles. Through structured learning and fun filled dance sessions, we focus on enhancing balance and building strength while introducing choreography and performance skills.

Dance Styles

Ballet, Tap and Modern
Combined Class

We love to nurture and develop our little dancers as they begin their dance journey. In this wonderful dance space here at Tina’s Dance Studios we encourage our little dancers using the power of imagination, props and music! Our tiny dancers love to express themselves (and tell Miss Stacey all about their week!) We have lots of fun whilst learning about rhythm, lines and above all – making friends!

Ballet, Tap and Modern
Combined Class

We love to nurture and develop our little dancers as they continue their dance journey into Primary class. They enjoy our wonderful dance space here at Tina’s Dance Studios as well as our creativity, as we develop their love for dance using imagination, props and music. In Primary classes we explore more technical steps and those children wanting more than once a week may join us on Wednesdays to start practising for their very first dance exam!

Class Schedule

Plan Your Dance Journey

Being a little bit older and physically more capable, we start to separate the dance genres so our children can get the most out of each style without becoming too tired. Their Saturday classes are in the morning, and evening classes after school.

Performance Opportunities

Shine in the Spotlight

Our Juniors are very much involved in our Show, especially if they take all the different dance style classes. They are so excited to start learning their dances when we begin choreography, and look forward to sharing the spotlight with our younger children whilst being inspired by our older pupils. Costume day is highly anticipated and they always shine like superstars up on the big stage.

Great school, lots of fun but get also good for discipline.

Parent Elizabeth Griffiths
Pupil Phoebe

Tina’s Dance Studios gave me the strong fundamentals to move onto my full-time training in Dance and Musical Theatre. The teachers without a doubt brought out my confidence in dancing and as a person from the nurturing and supportive environment they create, making the school feel like a second home. They have always shown to have believed in me and have pushed me to reach my full potential in preparation for my future training, which is something I will always been grateful for. The classes have always been so professional and fun, instilling strong technique and discipline of which has always been recognised at various summer schools, open classes and also by my teachers at Performers College. I have learnt so many valuable skills here, gained friends for life and I will always be so grateful to have grown up training here.
